>>5926057>Is there just a simple, flat out, straight-forward, rigorous drawing regiment that you can't go wrong with, like Saitama doing 100 fucking squats and pushups a day for a year to become a master? Like doing 100 gesture drawings or studies or some shit? There isn't. That's part of what makes learning how to do art so hard. You know what the goal points are but how you get there isn't that defined.
You could draw 100 gesture drawings and still not make any progress because you've been doing it wrong the whole time or you start out not good but do it without trying to improve and consciously look at your work.
>It's Innate and others saying its all elbow greaseIt's a bit of both. Some people progress faster than others but that doesn't mean the other person isn't progressing at all if they're actively looking at what they did wrong and working to fix it. A lot of people use Talent, genetics, and such because they want an excuse to quit drawing while making it seem like it's because of something they can't control instead of working at it.
>What tutorials/books/supplies are bullshit and what are essential.A lot of the shit in this category people fight over can actually be useful. You'll vibe with some and not with others.
