Should digital paintings count in a total painting tally?

Let’s say your goal is to have produced 1000 paintings before January 30, 2025 and you’ve made around 400 acrylic paintings in like 5 years, and let’s say you’ve started like 150 digital paintings in the last 2 months. Should they count?
Should they only count if they’re printed to canvas?
Should they not count at all?
