It’s the most high stress, unforgiving, untamed, rotten cunt of a medium. Nothing goes where you want it to go, you have to control the concentration of the water, the size of the stroke, the mixing of the colors, the pull of the gravity down the page, the timing of the drying, the layering of the paint, and the PRECIOUS FUCKIGN WHITE SPACE
I can’t even move an edge if its in the wrong place. There is no undo, you can lift off color but it leaves this nasty ass splotch and fucks the paper.
I only see the most boring fucking subjects, flower, fish, bird, flower, flower, Italian city, flower, flower, fish, tree, landscape, waves. Why do people paint the most tranquil fucking subject matter with the wildest uncontrollable medium.
Nothing about watercolor makes sense. I fucking hate it so much. I hate it’s pretentiousness. I hate the way it looks. I hate what people chose to paint with it. I hate the unfinished look. I hate that it has to be done on paper made out of baby unicorn hide.
Seriously fuck this.
