But yes it's dumb quite obviously because,
1. there are many other people able to draw convincing anime art (you would be surprised how many pictures you look at that you assume to be drawn by japanese aren't)
2. It is the primary japanese style, hence most people who draw like this are japanese obviously
3. Claiming anything else is some kind of inferiority complex by yourself so that you can tell yourself "Ah I guess it was impossible for me after all ONLY the japanese can do it I wish I had asian jeans" or is simply pure ignorance.
For a more prominent example, chinese artists in particular can also draw like that.
