Why does no one ever talk about how mind-altering art is? It's almost like a psychedelic drug. If you spend a lot of time doing art, you won't think the same anymore. The way you look at the world will be very odd, you'll notice things that you never saw before. It feels like you went your whole life without ever really truly noticing color or value or lighting or form and now you intrusively see it all the time to the point that it interferes with your normal thoughts.
As you do more art, it gets more and more intense and more intrusive. It's very cool, but it's also kind of overwhelming and I don't think a lot of people know that they're signing up for this when they start the art journey
