Yes actually. Is it alright to post work in progress? Or does nobody wants to look at such sketches?

It can take me more than 8 hours to finish an illustration. I can't post a new one every day.

And is posting my stuff there enough to get popular? Or should I interact with community in some way?

Yikes...post the sketches but only polished ones. I suggest cutting back on your hours taken to fully complete a drawing. Interacting with the community is a must if you want engaged followers.

yes

people like looking at them as long as they aren't spammed or too similar to each other

that's fine. i have to assume then that your illustrations are very involved to the point where your wips will be pieces of their own

posting consistently every day is definitely a way to enter the algorithm. it can get you on other's timelines

you should definitely follow other smaller artists. you don't even really have to "interact" beyond just drawing their OCs, which they will almost certainly retweet. and retweets means engagement, which means algorithm

Lick everyone's ass to stay in the group and also retweet everything they do. Give praise even if their art is mediocre and you have no idea how they even have that many followers.

Get to high number yourself where small accounts will do the same to you.

Congrats now you are sitting comfortably with high numbers, surrounded by ass kissers giving fake compliments, with social climbers all around you.

Don’t listen yo the knuckle heads that tell you to post daily, you can post daily, you can post weekly, you can post however often you want.

I post twice a month and have 20k+ followers on there. The important thing is make sure your art and subject matter is good/consistent and don’t post too many irrelevant food pics/shitposts.
