I've gone through it and I think it's the least convoluted way to explain the vague concept of gesture there is.
I relly recomend it.
The thing you need to have in mind is that you won't be draing full tridimensional figures by the end of that series. You are learning just one of the steps. But if you have dificulty understanding gesture you absolutely should go through it. I've recomended it arround a lot.
Brent is nor the most inspiring figure artist there is. You'll still have a lot to lear from Vilppu, Michael Hampton, Karl Gnass, Steve Huston, Chris Legaspi or Will Weston when you finish this, but if you do not really understand gesture these teachers will go over your head and your drawings will always look a rendered unsinteresting blob.
PS: Mike Mattesi has more inspired ideas about gesture that Brent Eviston. But I would still give him a chance oly after Eviston's course since he writes in a language suited to Pewdiepie's videos if they were meant to 5 year olds and that is anonoying as hell.
Good luck and draw every single pose Eviston shows you in the manner he asks you to and in the time he gives you.
You'll mkstly learning by faling and trying ro understand whe you have failed and then giving it another go. That's the beauty of his method.
