Let's face it /ic/
>Simply "working hard" or "believing in yourself" and all the other common "success" platitudes we've heard a million times before don't work.
>"Git Gud" is a meme as is Loomis or "Asian Genes" for that matter
>We all know by now the most popular artists i.e Ilya Kushinov, clones of popular artists like what ShexyoArt is to CuteSexyRobutts trace.
>You'll never get anywhere on social media as an artist unless you sell your soul and churn out either high quality coom art or high quality normie art or you suck off the most popular artists from the start (and it actually works out)
Are ethics what's holding a lot of us crabs here on /ic/ back from the fame and financial success we so strongly desire?
Also, for those who said fuck it to their ethical code and made it as an artist, was it worth it?
