I think its good to walk away from /ic for a few months if you haven't done so. I used to go on here more often but I stopped a few years ago. I think anons helping each other improve can be useful because there isn't any bias towards one another. There is really no consequence of being as honest as you want. I think there is a real value to that. However, I think its also easier to just stay spiteful and bitter when your anonymous. I think this board is a poor substitute for a real community of artists to surround yourselves around. You're better off trying to form real connections with others that you can grow to trust and build off of that. I'm not trying to say whether /ic is good or bad, but I think its just good to take a break from it every once in a while and focus on things that tend to be more positive. Feel free to share your experience with this board and 4chan in general.
