So I did the "responsible" thing and put freehand /traditional art on hold for basically a decade to focus on my education and job.
Unsurprisingly I absolutely detest the corporate world and i am suffering major burnout, but I will be in a situation in 3 years where I get a golden parachute of around $600k after taxes.
My plan is to leave the corporate world entirely after that, and just focus on my art for a few years. Just continuing to live humbly and not have to worry about bills ever again.
Any advice to a 30 (or by then 33) year old normie trying to get back into art now that they actually have time and money to do it, but practically no mileage due to skill rust?
