I'm not a good artist or positive person, but I can usually at least shrug and move past my failures to improve. With gesture, though, it's different. I've tried practicing during multiple periods, only to wind up in the same spiral: failure to improve, futile research, frustration, and in the end swearing off gesture in general. A few months later I think I might as well give it another shot, and here we are once again.
Pretty pathetic of me to start a thread hoping someone will point me to a magical video or instructor that will make everything click, but that's about where I'm at.
