What the fuck? Why does this keep happening? I’m constantly improving and no matter how good something looks to me the moment I’m drawing, the end result always seems unimpressive a few hours or a day afterwards.

I could have stared at a wall and achieved more, holy shit. You have to be mentally insane to enjoy art, what the fuck is this? Time went faster than a single day off from work.

I hate this feel but I keep falling into the trap every time. I tend to get weirdly inspired when I'm sleepy but if I try to draw it then it's always unusable trash.
Recently though I came up with a workaround. I draw a very small, simple, basic thumbnail of the idea, maybe even scribble some color on it or next to it so I don't forget, and that way I can make a real attempt later. So far it's worked out a hell of a lot better.
