I message directors and actors and historians and stuff all the time under the guise of “being an artist” and “working on an art project” and then “showing work” and stuff and like 60% of the time it works every time, when it comes to asking experts about something they like talking about that is. Idk about making friends or whatever. Drunk messaging models and influencers when you make weird art works a lot better too.
