you gotta learn WHY you want to draw before you start drawing, and knowing the history gives you an idea of your intentions and when you draw it lets you know your part of a history of other artist in the field you want to participate in. Big reason musicians give zoomers shit for not caring about the foundation of music or the forefathers.
