I started up hard as fuck in April 2019 after years of hiatus.
I filled 2 sketchbooks.
2020, I uploaded 300 drawings to IG, honestly probably 50 decent ones.
2021 more like 200, and less than 50 good ones. 2020, it's February. I have made 6 sketches. Fucking 6.
2 reasons. one i don't have ideas anymore. i used to have more ideas than i could sketch. The other day i sketched my sister's cat in samurai armor and i just stopped because i didn't enjoy it. Even if it was photo realistic, I was like why would i draw this?
2nd is I'm just shit at rendering. Horrible.
I keep watching videos by borodante, wlop, ruanjia, luciano bove, marco bucci, and others but i'm too stupid to process and apply what they are trying to teach. i'm just not grasping it.
