Specifically, why is their response to a student being unable to do something assuming that they are either a: lazy or b: belligerent. It seems like people who teach art are not willing to accept the possibility that their teaching isn't very good, or that art may truly be talent based after all. A good example is that most teachers basically have one piece of advice "draw what you see not what you think you see" and then they just shut down when that doesn't yield improvement in their students. pic unrelated
