When I was 14, I could get excited by basically any hentai pic, as flat and soulless as it could be.
But now it feels boring most of the time and I got extremely difficult to please, besides some artists like Type.90 and some rare talented genius in the hentai world, I am not convinced anymore by the drawings I come accross.
I see why some people might like the more classic, pure and thin line of Japanese artists with cute girls and simplified traits. But I don't find it challenging in an artistic manner, so I don't even bother doing it anymore.
Hence the "Western" style, I guess.

>>5886289Good point about the teeth, maybe I underestimated the visual emotion it gives to people watching it. It could actually be seen as gross. But I also try not to fall into the "Let's make a stroke line so it looks like that cute anime girl I saw ten years ago with sharp but also invisibles teeth" kind of habit. Maybe I would need a different approach about how I represent those.
