Is getting an art degree especially an animation degree worth it?
I feel lost. I’m in 3 years of community college and rethinking of my college path. I researched that it’s harder to get most animation jobs because it’s competitive and harder without getting an degree or a good animation school program. I’m thinking of getting an English degree just to be a scriptwriter but I researched you can learn that from community college or online.
My family want me to get an degree because with a bachelor degree make more money than not having an degree. Plus my online friends said it’s better of getting a job that makes money than do it as a passion
Now recently I’m thinking of getting an architecture degree because the concept sound interesting and fun but I have to transfer and study through my 20s. I don’t know what to do to make a living?
