I have been inspired by a lot of work by artist like Drajos Kajalic, and even random artist on DA I found through Google images who have made some impressive work in my opinion. I want to do portraits of archetypes and people I find beautiful, whether in a realistic or stylized nature. But the thing is I never have really been a good artist, I could make basic 2D copies of certain anime characters and drew some pretty flowers once but thats it.

I have a small set of sketch pencils (albeit worn down) and ink markers already, but what would be some other good supplies I can get for a moderate amount of money to start up with. And any books/online course you recommend? I just want to be able to draw people well.
