>>5880011You mentioned hatching and anatomy. Anything else about texturing? And anything at all about perspective and inking?
>>5879999>>5880000Nice post numbers.
Anyway I think
>>5879999 is trying to bait fans by being uninsightful - but it IS onto something. OP you chose one picture out of how many? You should really share 5 or more images which better showcase the aspects you spoke of (anatomy, perspective, texturing, inking).
>>5879982This one wouldn't require much anatomy. It's not bad it just doesn't take much. But. One thing in both pictures, and maybe almost all Ito's stuff is: non-human anatomy.
Even when the end result is unlike a person or animal/insect (like
>>5880000), it still has pieces of human and insect.
Or look at Uzumaki and its snails and shells.
Besides, the common advice you'd get about "style" in general is that
>You have to learn the rules (realism) in order to break them [and have it still look good.]So even if Ito doesn't understand the rules OP should still learn decent human anatomy and dabble in other random organism anatomy. But I have no idea how long that would take because we don't know OP's power level yet.
When it comes to perspective... I guess you might want to try perspectives that make hallways and tight spaces look dramatic and foreboding. And idk if it counts as "perspective" advice, but you'll want to try doing POV's that are "horror-esque": like showing the POV from the darkness as MC approaches it. Or POV from behind the MC as MC is crept up on by something.

OH and make sure you fill up the pages with detail (except for truly white things which need to be clear, like under a strong flashlight) If you struggle with filling pages, you're down bad.
