>>5878154If you already have a decent tripod, try something like:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16PSMJI5owgI've more or less built something similar: it's great, doesn't take much space, relatively cheap, can be used for various mediums. An anon pointed out that taking into consideration the build time, the price of a good tripod and the price of a good backpack, tubes and brushes storage, investing in a good French easel might not be that expensive and perhaps more convenient.
Depends on what you're starting with.
There are more or less hacky ways to transport wet panels; I've built a first prototype for 2 A4 panels; it's alright but to be improved, close to this but with glued MDF:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzd5mRFBxIYThere are other options, but this is a cheap one.
I've got a French easel (Mabef; poor reviews on modern Jullian's made me suspicious) that I've only used in the studio so far; I'm quite satisfied with it too. Pretty sure I'll keep it for ever, so in the end, won't cost that much. I haven't had the occasion to bring it out yet, and I think it'll deserve a bag of some kind, and some more thinking on how to use the storage compartment.
