>Your opinion was valid until you shit on Da vincii swear anyone that doesn't understand the mona lisa can see its not a thing of beauty but a masterpiece of it's own time, and leonardo himself could never fathom the internet or the countless edits of his "OC" which is the perfect merge of himself and the sitter ~La Giaconda
Imagine living during a time when a disease is wiping out most of humanity and then imagine that a golden age of enlightenment comes forth
Try being a master inventor, then also being so good at art you don't even care for
imagine being that based, you literally cannot.
The mona lisa is not beautiful , it's transcendental frankly,
Your OP picture reminds me of Raphael's 'Girl with unicorn'
>>>/i/670844While masterful in technique, the face is dead like stone, it was actually painted AFTER the mona lisa
and yet it is so lacking and forgettable, much like your OP Picture. It's good technically, but it's not art.
I know, there are moments of good linework, the pose is good, but the pasted in background and just whatever the message : "This is to cater to certain males"
A true anime masterpiece would encapsulate the entire history of the medium, japan, the world at large, while also transcending the zeitgeist, the norm. It would have to elevate anime to an art form much like "Grave of the Fireflies" which is the closest thing I can think of. It would have to be coom, but it would also transcend coom. Live 2 coom. Coom 2 live.
But to do that today? In a single image? Why, it just might be possible, theoretically a golden age should arrive following corona, much like the enlightenment followed the black plague and history often repeats.
