>>5875020I don't know how to draw bad forms any more than I do good ones, unless by bad forms you mean the basic forms. I don't really understand the concept of how lines describe forms. I get that I need practice, but it's hard to throw myself into a task and meaningfully apply effort towards it when I can't even imagine a path leading to my desired result.

Drawing, for me, is like trying to carve something I have never seen before out of a stone block using only a sledgehammer. With each stroke, a chunk of rock falls off in an unpredictable fashion, and I know I have probably irrevocably messed everything up, but I won't be able to tell for sure until a few hours in and there's no going back.
I would like to replace my process with one that makes some degree of sense, but I don't think I have it in me to invent one out of nothing, and I've had trouble finding any useful resources on that topic.
