-Lack of community, Discord filtered people away and groups broke apart or private groups formed keeping everybody fairly separate. I don't mind people having their separate servers but everybody wanting their private club is what killed a lot of the greater community aspects of /ic/.
I don't think it's a stretch to say that /ic/ has gotten much worse over the years, it used to be bad but not this bad. A lot of weird schizos in the ether are lowering the quality of the board and also offsite. Removing lsg, removing annoying schizos and weird autistic offsite drama would go a long way in actually making this place good.
To be honest it feels like 4chan is dying as a whole. Even in offsite groups I used to see new people regularly joining in hoping to take up art and improve or just people who had already been drawing a while wanting to post but in the last year or so I have not seen many new faces that stuck around to post.
So we're stuck in essentially a dead slow board kept on life support by autists, schizos and pedophiles which in turn could be turning away actually (relatively) cooler people and better artists.
