i dunno if /ic/ is the right place to ask for this but i have this memory of seeing a renaissance era ship painting that i cant get out of my head but i couldnt find it anywhere online so i wanted to ask here. from what i remember the painting had:
>a perspective from the rear(stern) of the ship with the ship taking up most of the bottom right portion of the painting
>immaculate detail of the ship and vibrant colours (i remember a bit of turquoise on the ship itself)
>some writing in latin on the top of the painting similar to other paintings of the era
>possibly more ships further out into the horizon (the ship was a galleon so it could be a spanish treasure fleet)
>slightly fucked up proportions unlike later paintings of 18th century ships that are more realistic
if this is not the place to ask for stuff like this, tell me which board i should ask next
