You don't just "come up" with something to draw. Everything that you draw comes from something that you've seen in the past. Artists who draw from imagination already have a large visual library that they can use at will, and the bigger the library is, the better.

I read books and short stories that havent been made into film/tv and then draw stuff from them.
Reading the books helps you come up with your own ideas too.
Reading in general is like free creativity injections.
