In the context of learning art, what is the difference between gesture, figure drawing and anatomy?

I've seen recommendations such as Vilppu for anatomy and others recommending Steve Huston for figure drawing

Are they all the same thing? Do I have to choose between Loomis, Hogarth, Huston, Bridgman and Vilppu?

Or do they teach different things?
