Everyone above a certain threshold is all lumped in as amazing artists. At that point all that matters is content and that you're drawing what they want.

Kim Jung Gi might be an art God, but to your average normie they just look at his content and think it's good art, but its not art of their favorite genshin character which they want as their phone wallpaper.

Thanks, I think my question highlights a greater problem which is this sad obsession with getting more followers when really it's all meaningless anyway. I guess it's like levelling up in an MMO, I just want to watch the numbers go up. It's pathetic really but I have no substitute right now
