I still read books, but if I'm being honest, videos are better, they go straight to the point, and show the drawing process in movement, instead of still pictures, Idk anon, maybe I should stop reading books, and focus 100% in videos...

Hogarth looks too advanced for most people. Say you're a normie starting out, do you start with a friendly smiling man explaining things like you're 3 years old on your favorite platform with a comment section who'll support you or go straight for hands, drapery, and every single muscle ever placed on contorted chrome demigods, in a book written by a guy who didn't give a fuck so hard he put a swastika on the cover, and never produce a single study you'll be proud of for years but keep going because of absurd amounts of willpower and misanthropy.

I'm with anon on that, I JUST started and I got my cheeks handed to me on a silver plate because of how hard Loomis feels to me, and it makes me feel like such a fucking brainlet. Evinston and DAB treat me like the autistic manchild I am and I at the very can produce at least a barely "decent" drawing after a week of using those two than with anything WAY high level for me.
