>>5841905here's my idea to improve quickly. tell me what you think. i will buy or make a cylinder, sphere cube pyramid and cone shaped object that are relatively small. i will paint them, wet sand them smooth and then clear coat them to make them very glossy. maybe blocks for children. and i would also like a few less regular but similar shapes. like a bowling pin or egg plant type shape.
on my table i will cut up a cardboard box. so it's just the bottom, left right and the back, but no top or front. then i will get 2 lamps that i can easily change the position direction and intensity of. if i have to build them i will, but one of those poseable snake type things is what i have in mind.
i can buy a few different color light bulbs. paint the blocks a few different colors, and also put down different color construction paper on the ground and backdrop. i will then every day for one month, randomly arrange the blocks, randomly arrange the position and color of the lights, and randomly choose background colors, and then i will do studies of the set.
If I can not figure out how light and reflections work after one month I will just give up drawing.
thoughts? suggestions? does this already exist? is there a better way to do it?
