I've heard drawing tablets already have built-in brush smoothing. I'm using Krita, if I set brush smoothing to none my lines feel weird, they come off way worse than what I can do on paper. Feels a bit better on basic. I don't know if this is because this is only my second day drawing with a tablet and it gets better as time goes on or if this is a technological limitation.
And then there's weighted and stabilizer. Stabilizer just feels weird and I don't know what ''Sample count'' means.
Weighted seems to be what i'm looking for, but I have no idea how much I should use. I'm a ''no rules, only tools'' kind of guy, but I don't want to end up playing myself by applying too much smoothing and damaging my learning. Is there an ideal amount? Is it more of a preference thing?
Appreciate any info and discussion on the topic.
