this year i decided i will actually pay for lessons. just curious if anyone has actually done it and could tell us who you studied and how it went?

I really enjoy Boro's paint over videos. He genuinely makes all these paintings look way better and when he explains the changes he makes in the video they seem very logical. But I can not extrapolate this knowledge and apply it to my own shitty art yet, so I'm wondering what he teaches you if you give him 25 buck a months. That is very cheap and totally worth it if he will actually explain his methods.

Same for Marco Bucci or Ruan Jia or whoever you recommend. I'm looking for help specifically with rendering btw. I fucking suck at lighting/shadows/value in general.
