It's a dream of mine to be able to draw in Yoji Shinkawa's style. How do I achieve this?

i did too at one point. its extremely challenging. this painting i did of trump was the closest i got to replicating his style. (had to find it from google images lost the original years ago)

i tried to make sense of his shapes whether or not the dark areas were values or design it seems to be a blend of both. he is quite similar to richard anderson and his ink drawings. its a very hard style to replicate and impossible to do reliably i think. in my opinion it would be way easier to develop your own style which is similar in energy.
