The crabs don't bother me, I laugh at them and their crabbing bounces off me. The great artists don't discourage me either. I found peace in my bag status and know I will reach their level one day. What ruins my day every time I come up /if/ is when someone makes a thread about how tracing is just better. It makes me sick to my stomach to even think about tracing, its as close to being a cuck artistically as you can. And these people trace aggressively not make monet, and what's worse, they're not even wrong. They're not evil. They have tons of supporters. I give up. In going to trace now and get better because there is no justice in this world.

I don't know about commissions but I can confirm people don't actually care. I regularly post studies of other people's work, straight up 1:1 copies except when I just change minor stuff like the lighting to see if it works, and vaguely credit the author in the description when I remember to , they're way more popular than my regular output.

If you ever want to get really blackpilled about this just check what the zoomers are up to on tiktok, it's all paintovers of photos or drawing Gucci belts on Disney princesses and they get more views and dopamine with this shit than the entire board does with Loomis.
