I wouldn't say outperforms. digitalfags are literally using AI algorithms to fix their drawings, i feel like im spinning tires using pencil+paper because you can do so much faster and better with digital. What a simple click of undo is 5 minutes of carefully erasing and fixing line errors

trad sucks because it's terrible for experimenting. you only have a couple tries erasing lines before you damage the paper and ruin the entire drawing up to that point

digital for experimentation and trad for application seems like the best approach in order to maintain my mental health

I mean... I draw trad and bought a mechanical pencil and haven't looked back. Though if you want to shade and detail everything you use the wooden pencils. They can be like color pencils but gray.
