How much would a 1 minute animation similar to this One Piece Hikare-E OP style cost to get made if I hired a freelancer or two to do it?

If one person were to 2D animate one minute of animation in this style, roughly how long should it take them?

According to google 1 episode of one piece costs $90,000 to make. Each episode is 23 minutes long with the OP and ED taking up 3 minutes so it's 20 minutes. But OnePI is known for recapping for another 2 to 3 minutes every episode so it's really 17 minutes of new footage each episode.

Well $90,000 divide that by 17 is estimated $5000 per minute of animation.

We also have to factor in that the one piece animators were probably working on slave wages, and on top of that the studio who created this was full of highly experienced and highly skilled experts.

How much would a less experienced and skilled modern animator charge for such work?

yeh that's what I was hoping for. I don't want to pay slave wages but also I don't want to wildly overpay what the standard freelance rate for something like that would be.

I already got music for the piece and don't need VAs. I agree that those OP animators are probably getting paid way too low for the amount of work and skill they have.
