If I haf to critique the final on shape design, I'd say it lacks a clear lighting, eg a single source of light generating two distincts light/shadows shapes. But quite frankly, I'm not sure it'd look better: that unusual light is well suited for a hellish env, were you'd have multiple light sources.
One point that perhaps would be worth fixing would be to add a bit more symetry on the cheeks, external line: right one is quite round conpare to the left, but sometimes people have weird facial feat so. That's mostly hidden anyway, it's only visible on deep inspection.
Not a big fan of the theme but technically this is quite nice; did you use some refs for the face?
