>>5822262i live in a city, in a moderate climate, but have done road trips to more rural areas with lots of nature where nudity taboos seem very relaxed and no one would be offended over naked kids playing in a river. i don’t know why. it’s this way for my generation, young mothers i know pretty much have it this way for their girl children, and i know it was also the way my parents’ generation grew up. around cities full coverage for all but infants was needed though. but i know family members who’ve lived in third world countries for a few years where nudity of all sorts was completely normal, you’d soon sicken from the heat and climate if you were too much a prude (laugh)
the girl vs boy thing’s just a cultural thing i guess. across various cultures indifferent ways kinda. you’d probably have to check out a study to get how it came about. young adult is around mid teens, it feels, when in documentation and such, but the way i used it here, i was thinking these kids pictured would be getting close and if they were in a slightly more formal setting or company, like a public pool, they’d probably wear shorts or rolled trousers. also to the anon who asked if clothes were ok even if all the other little bros were nude, you might’ve gotten a mild ribbing like you were a bit of a prude, but it’d still be no big deal either way
