The truth

if you didnt accomplish something of value in your first 2 years you will not see progress in art.

anything you learned in this space time become manners that you cant forget and became the base of every drawing you do, if you fucked your brain learning from shitty tutorials or guides you basically fucked up.

It dosnt matter how bad you were or how much progress you had, you will literally plateau there. i know you will come with "some artists get a lot better with time, like X mangaka XD" what they experience is a "second air" this ussually happens when you start to polish your artstyle, but for that, you first need to have a solid style.

I dont care about your excuses, you can cope all you want, just go to fucking twitter. for every 20 shitty artist, there is someone that at least draw consistent and appealing art, that get tons of likes.

is that simple, your art is good for the public or is not. no one cares the time you spend on it, how much anatomically correct it is, you have the spark or you dont. if your art isnt "special" now, if your social media had been bellow 4 digits for years, what makes you think this will change?

even if you are lucky and a big artist retweet your shit once because you drew some niche waifu or weird kink he likes, do you think you will suceed? that post probably get traction, yes, but when people go to your profile and see that unnapealing art you did before or after, they will want to follow? lmao Do you think it matters if said big artists follow you? go to their profiles, they follow 2k-6k people, your art will just vanish in their newsfeed.

happy new year anon!
