Is there a point to drawing female portraits in views other than 3/4? A profile view is just half a drawing, while a front view is more static and boring than 3/4.

There's one artist AJALPER on instagram. He claimed he sells profiles a lot more than 3/4th views. I thought it was very interesting. I guess 3/4th is a face but a profile is more of an abstract design.

you’d be doing a disservice to yourself if you don’t practice a lot of angles. there are some portraits the work extremely well in front and profile shots. technical application can really enhance something as stiff as a front view
