>>5820792Getting fit takes up an insignificant amount of your time every week. Even the most hardcore people on /fit/ spend hobby amounts of time on the boards subject.
Getting good at drawing requires at minimum full time job commitment (sorry hobby bros) and you can scale it up to 12+ hours a day if you want to suffer.
The only people we have here are people who have free time to shitpost.
So that means permabegs who don't spend enough time drawing or focused studying to get better, beginners who just started and dont know any better yet, hobby artists who have a lot of opinions but spent 5 years drawing for 1 hour a day just to get the equivalent of 6 months of dedicated progression.
Then there are the random artists that actually made it that come in to get attention and play pretend they didn't have to grind and give up all other responsibilities or outside life to get to where they are.
But for the most part people come here, get the info and resources they need and then either leave and quit or leave and get gud. Staying here and shitposting or even just reading the same shitposts and dumb questions over and over does not support the healthy mentality and discipline required to actually get good at art.
/ic/ helps beginners leave as quickly as possible which is great but also means this place is an eternal shithole.
