It does 'Japanese' characters fine but in the video it sometimes got a little confused with the white characters, it's not bad by any means it's just a couple of times the characters looked like they probably have an asian grandma.

oh really anon didn't know ff7 had characters with names that represented reality, specifically a non-edgy one

Tifa is half japanese half caucasian, like pretty much 99% of jrpg characters.

The face shape and lack of deep shadows. Sometimes little or no eye lid cease. The nose bridge is actually shallow except when viewed from the side as indicated by lack of shadow and sometimes even lack of line at that area when viewed at 3/4.

What this guy said, the Japanese work hard to simplify the face in real life as much as 2d, because they've realized lack of wrinkles in the face is what is considered attractive.

They already have shallower orbital region and low nose bridge so there tends to be weaker shadows and lines as it is. Although people of other races can also have shallow set eyes like Elon Musk does, and South East Asians often have protruding brow ridge while still appearing mostly Asian.

Pretty sure you can craft whatever image you want using that website.
It’s not like you just upload the anime image on the left and get the right, you can combine your own images.

artbreeder doesnt make any decisions about the character's ethnicity, there are sliders to add whatever race you want. You can also add other images into the program. The artist in the video touched up the images after. It is likely that they purposefully made the artbreeder output look like a japanese person.

pic related is just the result of me messing with the artbreeder program
the ethnicity is .8 asian .2 black

No, you cannot. Artbreeder only mixes images from it's internal dataset. When you upload images it gets processed first. To use your own images instead look into something like the Lookingglass AI
