>>5818567> You absolutely need a very thin, matte screen protector to draw properlyThis is something inherent to all display tablets and the only way around it is using a matte display, but that degrades clarity and apple knows that a majority of people buy their shit for the super HD whatever marketing term screens so there's no way that's happening
> Procreate EATS through battery lifelmao i think you just got a defective ipad
> It's too clunky to handle to replace a notebookThat I'll give you, I can still use mine while sitting on a chair but the 11 inch is MUCH better for portable drawing, 12.9 should only be bought if you really want that extra size (And coming from the 11 inch, it makes a very big difference). My recommendation is get one of those foldable cases. Otterbox symmetry cases are unironically the best for portability, standability and protection but they are also expensive. ESR makes similar cases and thats what I currently use, but they don't work as well.
> The pencil battery isn't stellar eitherThe ONLY time the pencil battery has ever died on me was after an intense 8+ hour drawing session, and I only had to charge it for 5 minutes to get enough juice to finish up. Just charge it whenever you need to take a bathroom break or something
> File management is GARBAGEYes I'll give you that too, it's really bad. I use resilio sync to transfer stuff between my ipad and my other devices, it's the best solution I've found so far.
