>>5812184The idea is interesting, I think you could get something a touch better were you to push yourself technically speaking. Here's what I would suggest:
- try using a firmer surface, like a wood panel
- make sure you're using permanent paint/pigment
- there is some irregularity on how the paint is applied through the stencil. A more regular application (paint thinnest/thickest variations), crisper edges would be much more beautiful/professional looking. I would suggest you to train making 10, 20 fishes with that stencil, until you properly understand why is the paint not regularly applied.
- Varnish?
- What about trying to do it with oils?
