I like Bridgman, and every artist sucks his dick. But the best analogy to this faggot's books and Andrew Loomis's books is best explained like this:
- They are companion books to his art courses
This means unless you took classes with Loomis or Bridgman, they make no fucking sense without context. It is literally one of the worst ideas to hand either of their books to a beginner expecting them to come out of it with anything.
Its better to find a good course like Watts Atelier to distill that stupid shit down for you with handouts that actually are applicable than sift through an entire book for just 5 pages.
The PDFs are floating around as well, don't even buy them either. Spend your money on art courses with critique sections where you can post your work. This is money worth spending.
