why do you draw?

a year passed by me of consistently drawing since i gave up.

this place (seeing all the pros, as well as the honest critique) made me fear drawing, so i kept putting it off and missed a year of progress.

meanwhile my 18 yo brother ahdnt gotten corrupted (he hates 4chan and calls me an idiot for coming here since i was a teen. im 23, but i dont blame him, this place just made me jaded in everything in life.).

Im beginning to wonder why i drew in the first place (the spectacle? boredom? cooming? the latter amy be the most important reason who knows.).

but why? why do you draw? why run the risk of some smug fuck destroying everything you did? why wwaste your time for (possibly) meaningless pixels? Let alone why risk drawing if you wont be satisfied?


i want to know, everything seems so pointless and shit and dangerous so im clearly missing something
