Are you fucking retarded? You're not supposed to take that meme seriously. Just look at any artist that has improved into their 70s. You're just giving yourself a cheap cop out based on something a random chode on 4 said. So what if it takes you longer to learn it? You got your whole life ahead of you. Either devote yourself to it and say fuck it to whatever anyone says or just give up and let it be a hobby. It's that simple, you don't need some reddit fedora tipping brain research to make that decision for you. Worst case scenario you fail after decades of hard work and end up back where you started. But you'll be happy you tried instead of letting some white lab coat asperger nigger tell you what you can and can't do.

Everybody, at least at some point, has made bad choices in their life and wasted opportunities that where presented to them. I did alot as well. I wasted my first few years of high school doing the bare minimum and spent all my free time just looking at memes and playing Vidya. I could have gotten better grades or even started drawing earlier but, I didn't use my ample free time for anything valuable.

You can change your life at any point. All your wated neuroplasticity is in the past. If you commit to your craft and work hard, you will get better. Sure you might not be mentally flexible as you were but that's besides the point.

Why are you going to college to learn to draw? Do it as a hobby. Don't be a clown and go into $50,000 of student loan debt to draw. Besides that, age is no reason to not go to college. There are plenty of people in their 30s and older going to college for the first time or to finish what they started. Including veterans.

I went to a community college before the pandemic and I was the only 25+ year old in the class. I felt like a predator among all the fresh out of high school kids around me. Like everyone looked so young I wanted to kms.

this all sounds like a big excuse to avoid drawing. Twenty-Five isnt old and not only is going to collage at that age not a problem but you don't need to go to college to learn how to draw either. You could take a drawing course for a fraction of the price you'd possibly pay going to college or just stick to being self taught. It's a longer and more difficult route but it's the least costly one.
