It is so unattainable that even thinking about starting it makes me feel like shit.
What kills me is that I have the skills to accomplish it. But art is just a hobby for me and my irl career won't allow me to dedicate the time required probably until I'm in my late 30's.

Haven't started.
I want to draw comics, but I'm having trouble conveying emotion in single illustrations and even a single human takes a full day to draw. Doing it + background for a comic just seems so daunting.
And I know I could half ass it, but I have a vision in my head how I want it to he like, but producing that vision is beyond my capabilities.

Improve workflow by more importantly, copying other comics which mean reading a fuckton of comics and analizing effective composition
I was on your tier, when I drawed one panel in like a day and a page took me a whole week
Now I'm on a sketch in a day and lining in a day for a whole page, but I don't draw much backgrounds
I want to reach asian gene level someday of a full page a day with full background for most panels

Just finished a few days ago, I started working on this video project January 2020 and sort of got lost in it, procrastinating some, then around August of this year, I sat down and started editing and by November, I was finished and had uploaded the project to YouTube, kept it unlisted until everyone decided it was finished, then I made it public. Feels good that it's finally done and out, next year I plan on doing another one, and getting it out faster.

My only long term project is to get "good" by the end of 2023, "semi-good" by mid '23, and "decent" by the end of 2022.

As I don't know how I would even define those things let alone track progress towards them, there's no way to say until we get there.

Just the basics, I suppose. I understand the concepts of 1/2/3 point perspective, and how to do things like transfer a plane or divide a plane into equal segments, but I don't really know stuff like view cones, and I'm still pretty bad but working on freehanding rotated cubes.

I like the dynamics of having a cute, delicate thing as the main character in an inorganic and lifeless setting. hopefully more people will enjoy it too

I wanted to make a sci Fi comic. And I ended up writing out about 50000 words of pure coom. I mean I'm one sense I do feel I accomplished something. I mean I don't know about you but I am a fucked up weirdo. I am into BDSM and never understood why and more to the point I never understood the fantasy at all. When I look at a video of a girl tied up I never think past the coom. What is the fantasy. After this rape moment, what are you going to do with her? You gonna kill her? You going to force her to be your maid? Are you going to give her a shower and then rape her again? I had no plan at all. So I found that I basically have 5 fantasy scenarios that clearly escalate in order and by writing them all out I can see that it's just levels of submissiveness all the way to the final conclusion of becoming basically an energy source for a demonic robot who no longer has any control or free will and is basically reduced to just a battery. So that's what's at the heart of it. I don't think I was molested or anything I think I just had a very stressful anxiety filled childhood and maybe through goth culture like Marilyn Manson and spawn and all kinds of dark shit, I gravitated toward the black leather and latex shit and then given the choice I related more to submissive than dominant. And you might see this as just a weird post but my point is I finally connected all these dots because of this smut I just wrote instead of the sci fi comic book I told everyone I was going to make.

The sci fi comic I have a lot written but not the over all plot because I wanted it to be a romance story. But the truth is my romantic relationships were all failures for various reasons so I really can't write a romance. If I did the character would end up becoming a fucking Intel because he got friend zoned or something massively gay and retarded like that. First of all I have low self esteem because I'm fat so that's the biggest issue, but also when it comes to women I don't respect that at all. I only care about looks and I think they're a necessary evil because I want kids but I feel like I am doomed to divorce before even meeting the girl. Actually I'm old as fuck now, if it hasn't happened by now it probably never will. The thing is I refuse to write a cliche bullshit story. If it already exists, then what's the point? Writing for the sale of writing is dumb. I want to write something that I actually like and I don't have that story in my brain. I tried to write it shit from movies and books that I like and try to connect parts of each in an interesting way but I couldn't make it work. Maybe next year
