Carpal Tunnel General and Misdiagnosis (Fasciitis

No.5803564 ViewReplyOriginalReport
I have been to the doctor three times and got a zap test, a scan test and checked for carpal tunnel because I had carpal tunnel symptoms.

The pain is mainly in the thenal (palm base) when I draw for over an hour or use chopsticks for boned chicken.

When I overuse, the other areas (in picrel) sometimes start paining at night.

I don't get tingling sensations or anything like that.

I was diagnosed with "right palm fasciitis" instead. Fasciitis is inflammation of the fascia (whatever that is) of a muscle or organ.

But if it's inflammation of my palm then why is my arm (picrel) aching like with carpal tunnel?

Is it possible he misdiagnosed me?

I have been doing carpal tunnel stretches and managed to draw for 2 hours the other day without hurting. But this morning I drew for 30 minutes and felt something coming up so had to stop.
