They may fail for a month straight, 2 months, but if they keep refining maybe find methods they can use so they don't take so long in doing what they do, they can succeed.
What they can't do is spiral into the "woe is me" mentality and start blaming themselves for being untalented or some stupid shit.
If they really want it, a week is doable, quality may suffer but going from 2 weeks to a week is very much doable if you objectively know what you can do in that amount of time.
